Goblins

Mongoose
RQ2 Goblins were small, chaos-tainted creatures related to Uz.
RQ3 Goblins were red elves.
MRQ Goblins are.... what? The illo shows a green skinned humanoid, but it looks much more like an AD&D or a Warhammer goblin. Is it Gloranthan anyway?

You forgot Dragon Pass Goblins - Nether world creatures that old Sir Ethilrist gets to summon as a unit.

The Monster book is a Generic corebook, MRQ Goblins are generic goblins, like the orcs and Halfling, I dare say when Mongoose get as far as the swamps of Pamaltela the little red elves/goblins will reappear.

These are generic gobboes, the Monsters book, while it does contain creature found in Glorantha, is a "gateway" product.

What's in a name?

Calling the Red Elven things goblins was probably a mistake.

RQ2 Goblins were definitely Gateway/Non Gloranthan.

I don't think anyone has written up Sir Ethilrist's Goblin Horde, but they are Underworld critters, probablt not troll-related.

That's the problem with using normal names for world-specific creatures. So, there are different things called Goblins in Glorantha that are different to Goblins in Middle Earth, Discworld or Alternate Earth.

RQM's goblins seem to be of the Middle Earth style. Seraphim Games' goblins are similar but different enough to be a different species or a related species.
