Getting used to Dilgar - Any Raid fleet ideas?

I'm trying to get my Dilgar up and running and am playing an earth fleet in a few days. Does any one have suggestions or dieas as to what works for a 5 point Dilgar fleet.

Model wise I have
8 x Thorun fighter bases
4 x Jalashkar patrol vessels
3 x Ochliavat destroyers
4 x Targrath cruisers
1 Tikrit heavy cruiser
1 Garosh carier
1 Mishakur dreadnaught

My theory at this point is to run a couple of targrath's, 3 ochliavatas (as the only beam ships available, and for the anti fighter gun escort) then use Jalashkars as point sinks and fill the rest with fighters.

Main idea will be to use speed and caf to pick off ships one by one.

The proliferation of interceptors for earth and the absence of beam weapons really worries me. For my Centauri it is not a problem as I can beam all sorts in all directions but a dakka based fleet against earth looks to me like suicide.

Any thoughts or ideas?

which earth fleet? do you know what ships he will field? always easier if you have an idea

Probably a couple of hyperions and lots of Olympus and Sagitarius etc. he is very fond of hunter packs of hyperions using the smaller ships as sinks for the bore sights.

I'm also in general interested in what kinds of raid fleets Dilgarids are bringing to the table so i can get a handle on how they work. ie i have a successful time with the Centauri but have not yet really made my Dilgar work for me. I;m trying to get into them now and figure out a good system for them

so he's flying early era EA then. Cool. Now the Dilgar players know what they may face, they should be able to advise.

I would not call myself a Dilgar player as I have not actually played them, but I have taken an interest in them and play to play them in a tournament if I get the chance.
Here is my two cents.

3x Targrath
2x Ochliavat
4x Jalashkars

Skip the pentacon and init sink HIM to death. Use the scouts to redirect fire on what ever scouts he has, then concentrate on the hyperions. You have the mobility advantage use it. Seperate his forces by making him chase you, and mssing fire on one target at a time. Once it is damaged it will likely slow. Then unload. Fire as many ships as possible in a single target with every weapon that can. This may seem basic, but the Dilgar it is necessary.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

I cannot recommend the Omelos hull enough for such a circumstance. While it has limited heavy firepower, it has tons of light guns, and against Hermes and Saggi, that's probably enough.

My standard 5-Raid Dilgar tourney fleet is:

2xTargrath
2xOchliavita
3xOmelos
2xJashakar.

If you feel the need to haul out the big cheese, you can start the game with two formed Pentacons, and then break them up on the first turn to maintain the two initiative sinks. This gives you 2 Jashakar and two "passes" for initiative sinking. Very little of the fleet is boresight, and you have some long-range capabilities (unusual for the Dilgar) in 20 Disruption torpedoes. Your limitation is that you MUST conserve your Targraths; you need to get the absolute maximum value from them.

last time i used dilgar i took the following fleet:
tikrit, 2 targrath, omelos, 2 jashakar.

its a very fast fleet and did me proud against a centauri fleet.
