Gee, WIZ?

I'm just going through Legendary Heroes and have noticed a seemingly new characteristic.

The Skills of Augury, Runefinder and Runewatcher and the Legendary Ability of Soothsay all refer to WIS. I assume, from D&D, that this means WISdom, but can't find any other references to WIS in the main Rulebook, Companion or Legendary Heroes.

Is WIS going to be described somewhere else? If so where? If not, what is WIS?

Sounds like someone spooned up.

I do WIS sometimes, myself, actually. Which is interesting, since I've never written for D&D in my life. I do know that I hate saying POW in my inner monologue as I'm writing because it sounds so stupid. I also accidentally do the occasional reference to Rage instead of Essence in my Werewolf stuff, though that's because - again - I always think Essence sounds dumb and my fingertips rebel for a split second.

Well...damn. That was my fault. I was working on a different project at the same time and my files must have got screwed around in my head.

Anywhere you see WIS...it is supposed to be INT. It was a find/replace that should have taken place that didn't and I made the error.

I apologise to everyone who has to deal with that error.

Greg always felt that D&D was a good representation for the God Learners. Something about it being all about da magic items.
