Future waves and figure quality.

Just a quickie to ask if anybody has seen wave two stuff in the flesh and ask if the overall quality is an improvement on wave 1?

I'm really hoping that futre waves will get a lot batter than those in wave 1, because for all this talk of them 'not being bad' and 'good tabletop quality', I think we all felt a bit let down by their overall quality when they were finally released.

Also does anybody know if there are any plans for an improved set of wave 1 figs?

Just looking for some reassurance really, cos some of the wave 2 and 3 prototype figs look really nice, but don't want them to end up looking like my wave 1 stuff.

i have some wave 2 in hand, and yes there alot nicer than wave 1

but keep in mind that wave 1 is your basic rank and file, and when you take that into consideration wave 1 are in my mind as a painter flippin above average compaired to what i normaly see on a games tble !! yes people paint better than that in technicality but with camo ? the average painter i meet has half painted forces, im lucky me and my friends only use painted figs so this has meant BF-evo got into action on day of purchase.

Are the sculpts more detailed than the wave 1 figs? i.e do they have noses and such like :lol:

I've got some Shadows, Technicals, Fedayeen, a warrior APC and a PLA APC.

The two APCs are, in my opinion, the best models. Nice sculpts and very well-painted. I can't see anyone who buys them being disappointed.

The Fedayeen are good as well - much better than rank and file MEA.

The shadows and technicals are little 'simpler' in terms of paint-schemes, but still work well. All in all, I'm very pleased.

I hoe they're better. I picked up a box of EFTF infantry and some of the guy's eyes were on thier cheeks. THIER CHEEKS! This did not sit well, seeing how I just saw 300 and they reminded me of that mutant Spartan. I've taken to calling them the mutie squad. Apparently some odd mutating virus has swept northern Europe, and my valiant USMC has been called in to eradicate them! (I could just repaint them, but interesting back-story is so much more fun...)

Can't see why not.

I hope to hell, there will be a wave 1 second release along with the wave 2 stuff! I have a huge backorder and preorder just waiting to be filled. :evil:
