Forest Rules?

Hey everyone.

I'm developing freelance supplement through my company and I'm looking for rules for being in forested areas. I can't seem to find any in the Legend products themselves and was wondering if I was missing something. Probably just an oversight but any help someone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't think there are specific rules for any particular environments.

What kinds of things are you after?

Travel might be slower, as might visibility, but apart from that I can't think of anything that would be needed.

Nothing specific. Dense forests are classed on p. 233 as "inhospitable terrain" in Legend Core Rulebook, cutting down movement to 75% of normal, and if it's also "rough terrain" it could reduce movement to as low as 3/8 of standard.

Other than that, no forest-specific encounter tables or anything like that.

Missile weapons are less useful than in open terrain because a
forest provides lots of cover. This cover also makes ambushes
and other surprises easier. Navigation is more difficult because
of the lack of landmarks which can be seen at a distance. And
so on.

That's about it. There's some things to consider when being in a wooded area and I'm hoping to elaborate on that as well as throw in some new player options and creatures. So was basically looking for anything in the Legend OGL to either use or elaborate on for this manuscript.
