First real session. Big Rubble, hunt for missing Grey Sage

Hoitsu

Mongoose
I runned first real session today. Did not get much done but got our first fight. 4 broos ambushed 5 player chars in dark big rubble street. After 1 combat round, 3 broos were dead, 1 dying, 1 player char wounded lightly and 1 seriously. It ended there. Got to use surprise, darkness, charge and so on. Players were veteran level with few changes, mostly weapon skills were over 80%, broos about 45%. 3-5 point armor and a little of magic. Many house rules were used (no armor penalty to weapon skills, critical halves the armor and modified parry & dodge tables with 1 roll combat. Even 1 sorcerer was taking part of the fight. 3rd age setting with 3rd age cults.

Summary:

Deadly, but not too deadly. Running smoothly and rules seem right. Exellent session

I would say that combat was just exellent:D It is fast and it is raw. And what is the most important thing...you really need to be afraid for your health. If you rush, you die. No D&D "i am not afraid of anything, i have AC 48" heroic stupidity anymore.
