Fires/Multiple Fires/Multiple Explosions??

Even though the rules say that special effects do not stack how would this work if lets say on a subsequent attack I get a Multiple fires result again. Would you just ignore the result since you already got it?

I see issues with fire, multiple fires, and multiple explosions..seems like they should stack, at least on different attacks.

The way we play if you get another one of these results on another attack on the same ship then you just add the new fires to the existing ones. I would think this is right.

thanks..

That's how I've played it out. Fires can and will stack. Thus is if one round a ship suffers two "multiple fires" criticals then 2d6 fires will have started.

It makes sense to play it this way as Fires really are not stacking they are new fires created and are not systems such as props and such.

Exactly. The effects of fires stack.
