Figuring out which print I have...

I apologize that my first post must be one filled with idiocy :D but I've been trying to figure out how "accurate" my hard copy of my core rulebook is.

From what I've gathered (after a bit of lurking) there is the 'first print' (which contains some errors including a missing Navigation skill), a reprint (which apparently contains the Navigation skill), and an upcoming third print run which features a new character sheet, new art, and is currently available as a PDF download on DTRPG. Is that about right?

Well, my hardcopy has the Navigation skill but the old character sheet. So do I actually have a 'second print' of the core rulebook? Were errors fixed between the first and second print? Would I still benefit from buying the upcoming third print? Were there major errors that got fixed between the second print and the third print? Is there an eratta sheet for the second print? Am I completely misunderstanding the number of prints thus far?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just to clear up a confusion I caused, I thought my printing lacked the Navigation skill, it in fact is exactly where it should be, noone else has reported the skill missing so there is no 'first print' as you describe it, except in my fevered imagination.

However.......

The pdf *has* been updated at least twice, once for various bits of errata (missing chunk of text about Teh Hivorz, for one ;)) and again for the current, super-shiney version available on DTRPG.

No (and it is actually the fourth!). Just some spring cleaning with art and layout, no rules changes.

So, to rephrase the original question, how do we tell which printing is which? I looked for the usual markings and didn't find any.

Ooh, shiney! I shall have to get that one :) (to add to the other 2 copies I have).

So, Matt: this latest, super-mega-hyper-shiney-springcleaned-with-new-art-and-new-lay-out print edition: this will be the last revision of the TMB for a while, yes?

No plans for any more.
