FA centauri proxies

Given that I can't find any second hand anywhere, and can only get new including expensive postage from stateside, anyone know of anything that would make good proxies?

Hugh had a good Maximus proxy - I can't recall which range it was from (its in the DW pack)

the Islamic Republic from GZG may be good - but their website is so dire at actually photographing their minis I am not sure!!!

lastly there is always Burgers Cardboard ones - they are very good (and much cheaper!?))

Hiff, the ship I painted as a proxy Maximus is from the Cold Navy Line from the US. Karria Class Destroyer from the Kharadorn fleet.

Great Maximus proxy, unfortunately the rest of the ships are not quite so Centauri like but with a few added fins.....................

Also the ships was full scale not FA scale.

All sorted now, thanks to basaint i have proper ships....

but who the heck is bidding against me for the narn on e-bay lol!

not a huge issue thanks to basaint sourcing me some new stuff, but still, it's just rude ;-)
on the downside means i won't have the minis to butcher for my FA Liati sculpt :-(
