Experienced Ships

One thing I have noticed, is that ships or scenarios do not get extra VP's or Scenarios for ships carrying XP.

In other words, a G'Quan with 5 refits has the same VP award and XP award as new vanilla G'Quan. Now I am sure the crew who destroy the 'Nemesis', scourge of the the Galaxy. Are going to get more reputations, rather than something that has just come out of dry dock.

Would it not be prudent to modify the following;

+1 VP per Refit
+1 VP per unspent XP
+1 XP per refit

I think the opponent losing their upgraded, refitted ship is penalty enough. No need to lose extra VP as well.

Maybe +1 XP for a ship destroying/decrewing an enemy that has more refits than itself. But not 1 XP per refit on the opponent, that is way too much; especially as many of the refits are crap.

I think there should be some sort of reward, like you said maybe a difference. Since two equally matched ships, would be equal

however when attacking a ship, you don't always know if it's upgraded or vanilla. indeed a vanilla ship could be more powerful purely through dice rolling. Or it may have a better crew?
