Exo squad pics

Mongoose

well, i'v managed to transfer the pics from my medieval digicam, and here's the result. i'm aware that the quality of the pictures is...lacking, but since there is no chance of changing the camera at the moment, i figured i might as well show those ones(i'll try taking some more pics later, when the batteries will recharge)

anyway-those are three out of 4 exos i'v painted(the 4th one was deemed unnecesary by the cam, so the picture wasn't saved  ). they are in red gore, with a token camo-stripes made in blood red with black outline-i wanted a camo, and since i knew that i wasn't up to painting a realistic one, i went for "here be camo" style.plus, this way they look more striking,IMHO :)
the base is both flocked and covered in brown static grass, to at least give some idea as why they are in a red camo

as always, comments are appreciated.

that bad? :P c'mon, do comment, whenever i post a topic that gets no replies i have this feeling that i'v just made a fool of myself

We have something in common :)
It's hard to tell but if they are on the same level as "Khorne Angels" they are all right.
Hope I'll see them in real someday.
Are You playing with exos or with standard CAP's in our league?

Well. Pictures aren't that good(then again neither are mine  ) but models themselves seem good. Bit of hard to say because colour scheme and pictures are so dark I have trouble finding details but I like the colour scheme.

found the damn battery recharger,so i'll try and get better ones(hopefully tomorrow).

Dargoth-Caps, the exos aren't all painted yet(as is the flamberge). anyway-i think they are a bit better than the Khorne's Chosen Caps

btw-if anyone has any tips on "how to take good detail pics without buying new cam" feel free to post or PM me

Give me a bip on GG or something and we can meet up in the shop and baptize my newly acquired camera (my photo skills still suck, but I guess we can figure something out  )

All in all, as far as I can tell the models look nice, but I'm not quite sure about the green-ish weapons and red camo... But overall they look good.

Lots and lots of light, but not like a having a lamp directly placed above. Helps doing it near a window also when the weather is good. Nice figures though.

damn that retouching program-the weapons aren't greenish, they are boltgun with mithril highlitgh

Silvarro-ok, we'll definetly have to get that camera babtised-maybe on friday or smthing.anyway, i'll get you through GG.

got round to painting my first grizzly(out of 9  ).
colorscheme is supposed to be a bastard son of urban and winter camo, but i guess it looks more like normal urban camo(main color is Fortress grey)
the metallics are bit more shiney in reality, and the base is grey gravel from ziterdes covered with patches of GW snow
*i will get to making better pics, honest.just will finish them all*
anyway, without further adoł:
trooper Smith front
trooper smith's side
trooper smith's other side
trooper smith's back(with sadly not-shown engine burns)
