Effectiveness of Aircraft attacking ships

For those who think that only 3 aircraft attacking a ship is weak, especially when they only roll 1AD. then perhaps Court Jesters post on the rulemasters forum may be of interest to you (see question 3)

WOW !

That sure changes how my players have been doing aircraft!

We haven't been stacking every crate that flies on ships..only been allocating three (3) aircraft counters per ship for their attack runs and those that survive AA get to make their attacks.

Can't wait to see their faces when everything in the air is lined up on that big high-value target ! heh heh

Yup DM, But it also allows you to actually get 3 into attack on occaision instead of having the majority lost to AA

True. Amazing how any aircraft you can apparently squeeze into a small amount of airspace
