Earth - Minbari War

for discussion; could a tourney be set up based upon the EA-Minbo war?

possibly not using VPs but maybe Moral points for earths defense?

EA early players would know they were in for a kicking but maybe we could still make this fun and competitive?

I also have a large collection of GROPOS stuff so we could do a land campaign aspect using epic/blitzkrieg modern/sci fi rules

Moral points for Earths defense? Well, for starters it's not nice to kill loads of innocent civilians!

So err whose side did they fight on?

Joining EA would have been suicide (just as Narn and Centauri refused involvement). Minbari wouldn't have let them join since it was a religious crusade.

But it wouldn't make sense, the whole point of the E-W War is that Earth was standing alone. No-one else would get involved for fear of invoking the Minbari's wrath.

Perhaps a "new" earth minbari war in an alternate universe set arround crusade time...

The EA has gotten a new despot ruler (secretly he's controlled by a drakh keeper). The guy is much like Clark, only this one makes his moves on a galactic grand scale he declares war against the Minbari in revenge for the last war as the drakh have seemingly disaperared, This time the Centauri join the fray (more keeper influence) this forces the narn to side with th minbari against thier bitter rivals.

The ISA splits half declaring for the minbari the other half declaring for the EA.

The League after staying back from the last war when humanity saved them from the dilgar, and then organised them against the shadows and with the influx of isa technology to thier fleets, are now more willing to fight, they will hire out as mercenaries to either faction.



The EA return to service many retired hulls, to boost thier fleet numbers, any EA fleet can take 2 fap's from the Third age fleet list.

Alternate Universe History, The Dilgar's Sun Omelos, did not go Nova, but they were blockaded in thier own star system untill the Shadow war, when they where promptly forgotten about amidst all the chaos. The Dilgar after years, of watchdogging rebuilt thier fleet and are ready to take vengence on those they see as the cause of thier fall, and so ally themselves with the Minbari.

or instead of all this you just say that G'Kar's offer of alliance to the Minbari in "The Gathering" was accepted, while the Centauri continued to cosy up to the EA "Shark"
