Dragon warriors / Dave Morris Gamebooks

Mongoose
Hey everybody

I know this doesn't quite fit in this forum, but there is no Dragon Warriors forum so I thought this would be the best bet.

Now that Mongoose is republishing/reprinting some of Dave Morris' RPG books from the Dragon Warriors series, I was interested to know whether there would be any interest or possibility in republishing any of his gamebooks (e.g. virtual reality, way of the tiger, bloodsword, fabled lands etc)

The bloodsword gamebooks are set in the same gameworld as Dragon Warriors (the World of "Legend" I think) so could complement the RPG books nicely.

On the other hand, the fabled lands series was very popular but sadly never finished (only books 1-6 of 12 were completed), and I recall that the rights have now reverted back to Dave Morris.

So, given Mongoose has made the call to revive the Lone Wolf series, any one have any thoughts on any of Dave Morris' gamebooks?

Actually Dragon Warriors is covered under the Flaming Cobra section of the Forums.

But as to your question regarding the Blood Sword books last I had heard Mongoose hasn't got the Rights, in fact I think the Publishing rights are still with the original publisher.

I think the rights that have recalled are the fabled lands series (by Davie Morris and Jamie Thompson). Not sure about the other ones though.

As an aside, I highly recommend the fabled lands series to lone wolf fans who are looking for another richly developed world to adventure in. Those gamebooks are quite different, although sadly the series was only finished half way - hence my motive for mentioning them on here! :)

Fabled Lands was a great concept - each book was a different area so that if you walked West in one you started at an Easterly point in the next and so on. You could go backwards and forwards between books as much as you wanted. The sad thing is, like LW, the series was never completed. I'd like to see it finished. Bloodsword series was really good/popular too.
