Hi,
decided to start VAS at my local club. My rule book is on order and I was going to get a couple of the fleet deals from NAVWAR to start with. (lets face it at on £9 each why not)

Code:
Great Britain Early War
N1105 Rodney Battleship
N1107c Royal Oak Battleship
N1108a Valiant Battleship
N1153a Repulse Battlecruiser
N1206 Furious Aircraft Carrier
N1209 Eagle Aircraft Carrier
N1305 Kent Heavy Cruiser
N1319 Sheffield Light Cruiser
N1326a Coventry 2x AA Cruiser
N11510 J/K class 4x Destroyers
N1514 A/H Class 4x Destroyers

Germany Early War
N3102 Bismark Battleship
N3102a Trirpitz Battleship
N3152 Gneisenau 2x Battlecruiser
N3153 Deutchland Pocket Battleship
N3108a Schlesien` re-built dreadnought
N3301 Prinz Eugen Hvy Cruiser
N3310 Koln 3 Light Cruiser
N3502b Z-23 Class x4 destroyers
N3504 Maass Class x4 Destroyers

I was just wondering what planes I need to get started with this lot. I know there will be counters with the book but I like to have models.

Any help would be great.

well I've just got my german air support from dom's decals which are produced by tumbling dice and they are really good,

the only thing I carn't say is how they compare to the navwar range as I'm waiting my rule book so that I can get a list togeather for the torney.

Once I've got some painting on them I'll get pics posted.....

We are using the CAP AERO 1/1250 airplanes mounted on 20mm sq stands. Two fighters, Dive Bombers or Torpedo planes per stand or one spotter or land based multi-engine bomber per stand. I cut both ends off of a straight pin and drill a small hole in the plane and mount on the stand. The Austin LSHM Club (our parent organization) put us onto this:

scroll down to see some of the pics of CAP AERO planes in action....
