differences between Conan and Pocket Guide

I recently purchased the Conana game and I'm loving it. But I do have a silly question, what are the differences in the game engine between Conan and the Pocket Players Handbook? I've been thinking about buying the PPH, but do I need to do so now?

I bought the Pocket Player's Handbook a few days ago and it rocks! But keep in mind it's mostly a more affordable reprint of the D&D Player's Handbook 3.5 edition from WotC. There's no art at all (to keep it small) but a handy and comprehensive index is included.
The selling points here are :
  • 1- it's cheaper.
2- it' easier to carry around.
So if you already have the original (WotC), you don't really need it.

As you must already know, Conan is a self contained game that changed many rules from basic D&D. If you want to compare with the original rules, you could also check out the 3.5 SRD (System Reference Document) at http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35
or the 3.0 SRD at http://www.opengamingfoundation.org/srd.html

Conan RPG more than just plain rocks. It rocks and rolls all night and parties every day.

Uhhh...not trying to quote any song there. Nope, especially any song by a group called........
