Decent sized armies

Hi guys.
I was wondering if you could tell me what a decent sized army points wise and model wise would be. I noticed in earlier threads there was talk of platoons and companies of marines. Are these likely to be represented in miniature form or are they too large. If you uys could tell me some example armies for the EFTF it would be great.

Hard to figure out point-wise at this time. As for representing them in a game, it seems like it could be possible; all you need is a really big table.

We've played exciting 500 pooint battles on a 6x4 table lasting about half an hour and equally you can get 2000 points on comfortably. The 500 point battles tend to work out at a couple of squads and a tank each. As you use further wave releases there's some pretty expensive kit there, plus some cheap units that make for a lot of variety in points spread.

As an example, in a recent 2000 point game I had about 60 MEA infatry plus some vehicles facing 3 M1A2 Abrams plus about 8 Force Recon troopers and a Super Cobra, so you can see variety is the spice of BF Evo!
