Decent 1:6000 scale ships

DSV1

Mongoose
I currently have 1:3000 scales ships but as my life has gotten more hectic I find space a problem so I am considering changing to 1:6000 scale

I know hallmark manufacture this scale but are there any others in the UK

Thanks Pete

Hallmark is Figurehead :)

Unfortunately the company was sold to a US firm (Noble?) a few years ago (all done "under wraps", which was a shame since if I'd heard about it my wife and I would have thought seriously about buying it). Since then the prices have gone up and the sculptor has move don to other things (not too much of aproblem for WW2 but a big blow to modern gamers as that range was just getting going when he gave up interest)

Sorry to hear that Dave - loosing the range to the septics was a bit of a national disaster  . I remember speaking to Steve Royen at Hallmark at the time and he sounded pretty fed up and jaded, I think he said he had stopped enjoying the gaming when the thing became a business, and then he got an offer and the rest is history.... nice bloke, stocked some really interesting stuff as well

6k is the scale of choice as far as I am concerned, which is a bugger because I am in the same boat (pun intended) with a shed load of 3k models.

Navigator minis stock the range in the UK. I have tried buying direct to get more "bang for my £ Stirling" but they won't play.

I have ordered some ships from magistermilitum who stock the hallmark ships in the uk

to me the priced seem ok but I have no comparison to go by.

I bought some Figurehead models the other day. I thought they were quie nice for their size and the modelled bases they come with are pretty handy too.
