This was one of the few rpg supplements/settings I was looking forward to this year. Hopefully it sees the light of day in some form.

I was just told that they are preparing a news release, and that it is good news, not bad news, so hopefully they are still releasing this, for Traveller, just Mongoose will not be the publisher.

Thats what I am hoping to hear anyways.

I kinda figured that Wildfire might want to bringing this inhouse. The fact that it might still be using the MgT (modified) is what I am hoping for. I just wonder what this will all do with my Amazon.ca pre-order...probably just another order that after 10 months - Amazon reports they cannot get - then f*cks up and says it is out of print. <sigh>

Regretably, it looks like this project is not going to happen as a book release after all. We are already in the process of making refunds for those who pre-ordered.

Well that bites! I was hoping to run a campaign with that rules set...

They finally made the news release. It basically says the Traveller version will be put up with a POD option on RPGNow in April, with an expansion in June, also with a POD option.

They will then likely rename this and release it with a new system and the core book for that will likely be in June. No word on what the new system is, other than it is being done in conjunction with Sandstorm? Wildstorm? So that might be a clue.

So those of us still interested in a Traveller version can still get it.

OGL. You can't commercially publish under the FUP.
