Crystal Star Expanded Spell List.

Working on a Brotherhood of the Crystal Star Expanded Spell List, in part lifted from the D20 ed, as time allows and inspiration strikes me, I've about worked out Lighting hand.
 
Tier I was just a simple electrical ranged attack, so the spell as it appears in Heroes, Tier II is a Damage Multiplier Mallee attack Tier III is a Multiple Attack Ranged Attack Spell.

My Preliminary on Tier II is Magical Mallee Attack with a Damage Multiplier equal to WP Spent, so if you spend 1WP your attacks are now Magical but do your standard amount damage, 2 WP you do X2 Magical Damage and so on, WP is spent per attack and must be Unarmed or via a Wand, and I mean a Proper Wand not the silly sticks Prestidigitators (stage Magicians) use. and if you recall in some versions of the Pendragon Myths both Merlin and Mordred used Wands in the form of Swords, other Myths have "Gauntlets of Power" and such that have descriptions matching the abilities of the traditional Wand, but the normal form is that of a Staff.

For Tier III I'm still working on the Wording so you have to spend at least three WP. Something like "your number of Targets/Attacks equal the number of additional WP spent after the first."
 
OK restarting this project and sticking more limits on how things work, for starters you can only spend WP equal to half your rank (round down) on any given spell. many spells won't need the full treatment since they are graduated in their effects already, ATM I'm working on scratch paper but hope to have something posted by weeks end.
 
Ok new Spells, only a rough draft but.

Levitation

Tier I: 1WP per yard of vertical movement or to slow their own fall.

Tier II: 2WP +1 per additional yard of vertical moment to affect an other or 2WP to slow an others Fall.

Tier III: 3WP Halts a single incoming Missile, Large and or more powerful missiles (like Siege Bolts, Canon and Bombard Shots) require additional WP expenditure.

Scene Evil

Tier I: 1WP detects Evil Persons, Creatures, Forces, Objects or Intentions in the casters presence

Tier II: 2WP seeks out named Evil Persons, Creatures, Forces, Objects or Intentions in the casters presence but still in the general area. costs more WP to extend range.

Tier III: 3WP divines the nature of Evil Persons, Creatures, Forces, Objects or Intentions in the casters presence (names them and gives approximate capabilities or actions). costs more WP for more detail or to cast aside magical concealment of the true nature of the Evil.
 
OK some spells are scaled by the number of WP spent, I cap all WP expenditure to the Characters Rank Bonus. so some spells don't need to be played with like Counter Spell or Invisible shield, still working on the play balance for Mind Charm and only have two levels for the Vigour and Silence spells.

Mend

Tier I 1WP per EP healed effects only the Caster all other stuff is as is in the rule book.

Tier II 1WP + 1WP per point of EP healed on an other living subject by touch (part of why you may want to get your self a Wand to increase the range of your touch).

Tier III 2WP +1WP per point of damage on a non living object by Touch.
