Critical Succes in Legend

If a combatant roles a Critical Succes in combat and the opponent does not roll any roll, how do I calculate the level of success?

I presume I give the combatant 2 Combat Manoeuvres - the lack of a defensive roll should count as a Failure, I guess?

Am I correct that there are no specific advantage in combat when you roll a Critical Success, right? You get a Combat Manoeuvre? But how many? A stickler to the rules could opt that a Critical Succes shouldn't result in any Combat Manoeuvre since there hasn´t been any opposed roll.

If a critical is rolled, and the opponent does not attempt any defence, then two CM are generated as there is two levels of success difference. A critical roll allows the choice of a critical CM, so in the above case, one of the two CMs generated could be a critical CM. I believe it says in the legend rule book that if some one does not defend for some reason, they count as a failed defence roll.
The 'stickler' for the rules would be incorrect, no roll against a critical (why you would not roll if you could i do not know) would result in two CM being generated, as i said above.
