[CONAN] Question about the Bull's Charge

If you perform a Bull's Charge against a target that is flat-footed, does the target still get the attack of opportunity on the charging character? Or, does the defender lose this due to being flat-footed?

No he will not, he is surprise and cannot act against attack, but he has a good chance of standing there wide-eyed watching it coming at him !

So, that's a pretty deadly first move if you've got initiative. You get 2 attacks at -2, but you are -4 for defense. Yet the target is flatfooted and easy to hit with those attacks. He might not get to take advantage of that -4 defense penalty on you.

Deadly.

Unless I'm missing something, Bull's Charge only gets one attack, but with a +2 bonus on damage. Leaping Charge is the one that gets 2 attacks.

You're right. Sorry. Mixed 'em up.

What is your input on the Bull Charge against a character who is flat-footed, though? No AoO when the Bull Charge happens?

Keep in mind that your opponent might not be able to take advantage of your -4 to Defense but anyone else who can act in the current round can (and likely will).

Tis why they say "Fools charge in..." and all that. :)

An attack of opportunity is still provoked, however the target can't actually make one as he is flat footed.

Cool. Thanks for the input.

The only way to make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed is the use of the Combat Reflexes feat.
