Conan in RQ Please D20 is Killing me!<any homebrew Conan

I was given the Conan Pocket Book for me birthday beacuse I am a big R.E. Howard fan, along with H.P LOVECRAFT as he was a friend, inspiration, and correspondent to many of his contemporaries, such as August Derleth, Robert E. Howard, Robert Bloch and Fritz Leiber.
I was reluctant to play due to the book commented, I am a father of four adopted children and 35- 45 dollars a book is a heavy Toll for entrance into a game for my budget! , but I must say well worth it! then i started reading and Mongoose you did well, I have not seen the second edition but I am told you <as in mongoose> clean up the error and near hits on the Conan front!
but the mechanics are so "ANTI-ROLEPLAY" to some one who Has been using the Runequest/BRP/CoC system for years!
I think I well convert the book my self- but even with my budget I would buy a Conan RQ or Conan BRP. PLEASE CONSIDER IT!
I wish I had time to join the Mongoose infantry! but at last I checked few game stores to see if they wanted wanted Demos in Dallas Texas and Plano of Mongoose items {- oh mention DnD 4e AND THIER ALL EARS!

so i started the d20 game any way with my 16 year old sone and his friends and my 14 year old daughter!
but I would rather it use the RQ stuff!

1 ED ADnD 2 Ed ADnD and CoC are solid sells
but then again so is 4 e
but the market was bound to get burned on D20!
or how about a game free source book with out the mechanics and or post the mechanics on web page?
time to anticapate the movement!
honestly The fans of BRP HAVE AND ARE SOME OF THE MOST EDUCATED AND LOYAL fans out thier ! - look and CoC!
D 20 was a revolutionizing system and 4e will draw even morep layers in to a very popular title, but when those players mature they well move on! where do they move too?
BRP I can only hope!
so how about taking the intuitive and converting or adding to RQ to the BRP stuff! I mean Damn I have been in the hobby Longer then most on this board have been alive, i have seen a lot of fads and revolutions in the hobby!
I am getting pretty good and anticipating the movement of this market!
There is still more old school gamers then new ones currently!
they have bigger incomes and want and spend more for old school systems!

but it is time to see the market change , its time to see the turn of the d20 knife! sell conversion PDF's? the back lash is growing even Wizards saw it had to move out of a total d20 game system to a more and < no d20 logo on the books?> for many reason , but one I suspect was the turning tide of the d20 SRD-OGL, that is mostly because of flood of material !
Its all been done ether badly or totally flooded!

THE SO CALLED D20 fan for the most part or maybe my opinion are fair weather friend and most will convert to what ever the lead market product produces-4e! sense Star wars saga and even the coming modern d20 is converting to this more RAPIED D20 LITE system!
yes I know that some companies have choose to stay with OGL 3.5 AND THEY WELL KEEP A NITCH MARKET for about three years, Like the titanic witch stayed a float for what four hours? it well eventually sink but hang on to 3.5 stuff folks if you are into long term collection in 8 to 12 years people will want it again. when 5th edition DnD comes out!
