[CONAN] Hyrkanian Horses

Which statistics do you use for this Hyrkanian animal?

Maybe this animal is like the Central Asian horse species used by Mongols (short, slightly furred, very tough and resistant vs any weather).
They are born to make long travels, rather than for making rapid sprints.

The Turanian Desert WarHorse seems to be different animal (too quick, too big).

Which statistics do you suggest?

Physically speaking, the Nordheimir horses should be larger.
But maybe we can use it as a baseline: same high Con, Higher Dex, lower Str.
I was just interested if the whole statistics was published anywhere.
Players Guide page 34 (or the lists of Hyrkanian/Turanian NPCs by Vincent) refer to "Hyrkanian horses" but we have no official statistics!

I was thinking... Is the hyrkanian horse a warhorse? If not, use the working horse stats, at least, that´s my pov

I have not idea....but if Hyrkanians spend 80% of their time forming hordes and raiding settled people, I think that those horse should be at leats used to some war, so a working horse is not good to imitate Hyrkanian horses.
Mayeb the best thing to do is to invent various Hyrkanian horse races and mimic them with the statistics we have.

I would be incline to modify a light warhorse to depict the Hyrkanian horse.

As define earlier, the horse used by the mongols were short furry and were resistant to more extreme weather, as wellas having lots of stamina, but they were laso trained for skirmish and raids...so a modifier light warhorse could work.

Also if you have in hand the old AD&D 2nd edition suplement "The horde" which deals with the Mongolian like Horde between Faerun and Kara-tur, you find a sheet with 4 new horses template including a "mongolian" horse.

By comparing it to the base horse tmeplate in Conan or in the basic D&D 3rd ed, you could engineer a good approximation of the Hyrkanian horse.

edit:
Worse case scenario I can give you the stats to hlep you if needed.
