Book Description

In the tiny Zamorian village of Lunatini, people are used to a certain way of life - simple and pleasant. They are vintners mostly, tending the vineyards and presses all the hours of the day and relaxing to a few good cups of wine and song when the night claims the sun. It has been this way for many generations and there is little that would make these simple folk change. Then why is it that there have been more than a dozen men and women killed on the points of watchmen spears in the last month? A rash of unexplained madness is spreading through the population of Lunatini, and some have begun to whisper that it is the result of witchcraft and sorcery...or perhaps of even darker origins. The village's annual Cask Blessing Festival is almost upon them, where they make all of the money that they live on each year in just a few days, and the burgomaster of the village is ready to go to any lengths to hunt down the witch, sorcerer or demon responsible - even hire a group of wayward adventurers to do the deed!

Any word if the publishing date is correct Mongoose Steele? Could this be the first time Amazon has something right? I like the description of the adventure - nothing like a bunch of mad Zamorians drunk on wine![/url]

It has been on Amazon for a long time but I suppose it will be postponed until the release of the 2nd edition of the rules.

Man, I love these Amazon things. As far as I'm aware, I'm down to do 'Conan and the Waking Dream' - it's scheduled for writing in late April, so August would be unlikely for release, and the blurb looks _nothing_ like that.

It's like a transmission from a parallel universe or something.

Yes but I opened another thread with news from Amazon about things scheduled for Conan and I don't think they are fake, aren't they?

Anyway I don't think Amazon invent anything, I guess they receive a year schedule but don't consider any change or cancellation (or one of the person who effect this changes didn't see it/them).

Thats hilarious! One can just see some Amazon flunky writing up the detail description based only on the title!

At a guess, it's the blurb from some other book grafted onto the Waking Dream title. I haven't even written the Waking Dream blurb yet.

Mongoose Gar - what's the status on Conan & the Waking Dream? I have it pre-ordered form Amazon yet it is still not on the future Conan release schedule? Was this all just a dream? Hit us with the details! :D 8)

Honestly, I don't know. It was written up as a 32-page adventure (while guarding a caravan, the characters are attacked by bandits possessed by horrors from the world of dreams), and at one point was being considered for being included with the Conan 2e corebook. As the new printing press can't do 32-page books, it'll either be combined with another book or released as a .pdf or something.

That's funny...that amazon blurb is the one that I originally wrote for that project when it was on my dockett. Things changed and it got shunted over toward my man Gar, so amazon is just plain wrong.

Again. :)
