OK, I was bored at work the other day and set myself the challenge of creating a campaign fleet list (10 Battle FAPs) that contained at least 1 Raid FAP from every race available (except First Ones). I tried to make the list the most competative and balanced that I could.
1 x Tertius
1 x Vorlon Destroyer
1 x WSC-2
1 x Omega
1 x Delphi
1 x Tigara
1 x Shadow Scout
1 x Drakh Light Cruiser
1 x Targrath
1 x Xill
2 x Sagittarius
2 x Ka'Tan
1 x Milani
1 x Strikehawk
2 x Brikorta
2 x Ticara
2 x Sunhawk
2 x Delta-V2 Wing
2 x Delta Double-V Wing
Would this sort of fleet even work together (hypothetically speaking) and are there better alternatives? It's surprisingly hard to take all of your favourite ships in good numbers whilst still picking from every fleet and maintaining a fleet that you can actually choose (e.g. you can't pick all your ships at Skirmish level and have a big enough fleet or a balanced fleet for all missions).
Also, this concept could be extended to other size fleets, for specific opponents and of course with dropping the limitations on needing to involve every race!
