Clarification required fighter squad question

Mongoose
Lets use the Psi corps mothership for example,

Mothership carries 4 "Black Omega starfury flights",

Is a "flight" equal to the description of on page 151 so on that basically a flight is 2 units of Black Omega starfurys, which would mean the mothership carries 8 bases worth of Black Omega starfurys?

Cheers

No. A flight is one base.

A wing is 1 or flights bought together rather than carried on a ship.

The mothership carries 4 flights, not 4 wings.

I wish they crried wings of fighters, damn there would just be no way to stop the psi core fighter swarm of doom then.....

Scary thought... Imagine the gaim like that.... they are already annoying enough.

Just seems very badly worded in the book then.
Not really; it does quite clearly state on page 151 that buying Black Omegas independently gets you a wing of 2 flights for one Patrol point. And it states in the Motheship that you get 4 Black Omega flights. Not 4 wings.

Yes sometimes you have to read the wording very carefully..... but it is (usually) there, if you do.

Yeah but using the same word "flights" makes it a tad confusing I am not buyin the book at the moment as the book is available after the models aren't so I am getting them first so I have to do less conversion work.

Thanks for the replies anyway guys

A flight always refers to the same thing. One base of fighters. A wing refers to multiple flights. There is no ambiguity...
