I wrote a short story about the City of Wonders in the first Tentacles Book and there is a story in Gloranthan Visions about the last days of the God-Kings City.

I was curious about that, but are you sure, when was the city founded?
Pharoh built it as a symbol of the unity of the Holy Country, with himself as the embodyment of that. He doesn't show up till much later... the 1300's, I think.
