Challanger II

Just read the Challenger II bio on the upcoming releases...

The Bio states that the Challanger mounts a Smooth bore cannon but the real-life Challanger II mounts a rifled version.

That said I like the model.

the Brits are thinking of nicking the 120 from the Leo 2 A6 or the slightly worse M1A2 and Leo 2 A5

lol, one things for sure, its going to be one nasty tank when it gets the new gun... already most likely the best protected MBT with the best gun...... thats a scary combo

That would leave the Indian Arjun as the last modern MBT with a rifled gun.
And the Challenger II only needed rifling to fire one type of ammo as I recall.

Just wait till they start rolling the latest FCS MGS with a railgun. You won't need HEAT or SABOT with that puppy...

Hi guys,

It is always worth remembering that BF Evo is a projection 5-10 years ahead of what real world forces have now, with a dash of poetic licence added.

To back this up, we have fostered contacts in the real world military and among civilian contractors, and are avid readers of, among other things, JDW. Therefore, we are in a good position to judge what could happen.

That said, there is no accounting for governments and the decisions made in senior military circles :)
