lol, one things for sure, its going to be one nasty tank when it gets the new gun... already most likely the best protected MBT with the best gun...... thats a scary combo :shock:

And the Challenger II only needed rifling to fire one type of ammo as I recall.

HESH is correct. They were used in '91 to kill Iraqi T72s rather than wasting a sabot or HEAT shell on them. Soviet tin-can was no match for the Challenger.
It is always worth remembering that BF Evo is a projection 5-10 years ahead of what real world forces have now, with a dash of poetic licence added.
To back this up, we have fostered contacts in the real world military and among civilian contractors, and are avid readers of, among other things, JDW. Therefore, we are in a good position to judge what could happen.
That said, there is no accounting for governments and the decisions made in senior military circles
