From a friend of mine, who is very interested in such matters... Thanks to www.fireandice.com for their assistance (Stav)

Try these:
http://www.godchecker.com/pantheon/index.php
Ok, bit jokey, occasional slight error

http://www.kami.demon.co.uk/gesithas/gesith.html
Old English site - some bits of lore, old names for birds (may or may not be
useful), maybe not much for you

http://www.englishheathenism.homestead.com/godsandgoddesses.html
Old English - really like this site, well researched, be careful of Edred
Thorson quotes - eg ascribing deities to runes, which are pure speculation
presented as fact

http://www.geocities.com/cas111jd/
Good site, academic comparisons other Indo European deities, covers other
Eastern IE cultures such as slavic/baltic, too, which are contemporary with
the earliest Celtic/Germanic deities

http://home.earthlink.net/~norsemyths/norsemyths.html
Some pictures, can be victorian flowery

http://www.vikinganswerlady.com/ghosts.htm
This is the stuff - Norse undead, well researched, . The main site also has
other interesting articles that may or may not be relevant

http://www.stavacademy.co.uk/mimir
The largest online collection of folklore/mythology etc. that I know of.
Prepare to be sidetracked when searching...

http://www.pantheon.org/
Interesting database

http://ancienthistory.about.com/library/bl/bl_myth_europe_norse.htm
Useful resource

http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/vikings.html
Loads of viking links, some 'funny', not checked them out though

http://www.odinic-rite.org/index2.html
Well researched, useful

http://www.lothene.demon.co.uk/others/womenvik.html
Women warriors - not sure if relevant, but interesting

http://www.northvegr.org/northern/book/index.php
Excellent resource site - at least, well recommended (haven't really
investigated it, myself)

Thanks Hassanisabbah, these are great ressources.

It will take forever to explore them all, but "one never know too much about mythology", I say !
