Well atleast you haven't been waiting for it as long as I have been waiting for the campaign guide :D I think it was first said to be released on spring 2010...Or was it 2009...Either way bloody long time!

Just to lighten the spirit a bit ;) I'm sure you are quite anxious to get your hands on the minis+book ;) Pity minis are too expensive for me just to sit on shelves :-/

Wow its pretty common knowledge by now and has been stated in more than one thread that pre-order shipments will commence the first week of December most likely starting with books first.

Yeah most likely is not an official statement bro I paid for my stuff and I want to know when it will be here that is not too much to ask.

What I said is the official statement as I mentioned in my post.

its all in this thread

here in the same forum you are in now. Like I said the information is just about everywhere in this forum at this point.

"Our chaps in the casting facility have been working day and night (literally) to meet all your orders. We are now looking at starting to ship A Call to Arms: Star Fleet on the week of the 12th, though gamers in the US may see the rulebook a week before that."

From the Planet Mongoose blog.

w/c 5th now w/c 12th  Delivery starting right at the start of the Christmas Rush, Temporary posties!!!

If it comes down to it, better the game be late and more polished, than on-time and poorly rushed.

(Besides, I'm not too hopeful about it showing up here before the New Year anyway.)

Books at the printers from what I hear - it's as polished as it will be (till....?)

I am still hoping for before Christmas - so I can paint the mini's between Christmas and Hogmanay/New Year. - My main worry is delivery....

Anyone who has pre-ordered already _will_ get their models before Christmas.

That's good.

Any idea of when you plan on shipping to distribution?

I pre-order through my FLGS and all of the distributors they use (the three that serve the area) all still say Not Yet Available or To Be Determined. If we know when you will be shipping to the distribution network, our FLGS's will be able to know when they need to be actively watching in order to actually place their orders.

My guess would be your ship date + 2wks for the items to appear as available, if fortune smiles that is

@IraShaine1972 It should be on the main page with a shipping date we shouldn't have to sift though old threads to find it. Just saying! 8)

I WANT MINE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I gaze over my miniature collection at models so numerous for games so eagerly desired and realize that I felt the same eagerness for each and every one of them and even now I anticipate yet another addition to the heaps and realize that a great lot of what I own will most likely find a place in another gamers collection and a hefty discount and then gaze at the things I am currently most interested in (my Noble Armada collection) and realizing the amount of work it will take to even paint those models........well.......I think I can manifest a little more than the usual patience myself although I do feel the pain.

I tend to avoid pre-ordering something as soon as it becomes possible to do so simply because of the indeterminate waiting period. Drives me bananas. I will try to have fun with the models that were yesterdays center of the universe purchase. While I wait.

I wonder what the next "gotta have it yesterday" thrill product will be after Star Fleet starts to collect dust?

Also I am a little more patient because I ordered the Star Fleet stuff mainly because I like the ACTA system more than anything else. I am a bigger fan of the Fading Suns setting I think. Probably because I have been exposed to the setting for alot of years through SFB and FedCom and some of the PD rpgs and whatnot.

Now if I can get me that Fleets of the Fading Suns and some new fleets that would be great.

I preordered at my local talbetopgaming store.......but I fear it won't be here till new year (living on the european mainland has some distinctive disadvantages sometimes). But like I always say
I'm always ready for surprises (especially good ones)
