Campaigns and RR - Your info

I'm putting something together and was wondering if I could get some numbers from the ACTA community to help me out.

I want to know the numbers from your campaign games. Specifically -

The starting size of the battle (PL and points)
The type of engagement
The amount of RR each side was awarded (or, if you only remember yours, if you came out on top and by a lot or a little)
Your costs for repairs/replacement ships
How much was spent on reinforcements

Like I've mentioned, I'm putting together some campaign rules and would like some broad numbers to help with values. Rather than earning RR through combat, players fight over territory (like Risk or Axis and Allies) and the controled territory provides the RR. However, I need some figures to determine how to value said territories. I'm worried that too high of RR values will make for massed fleets and too low will result in difficulty keeping fleets in good shape.

Of course, I think, its a moot point, since as long as the values are equal (to start) both sides will suffer or benefit equally.

btw, I don't need exact numbers or all the info requested. even guesses will work (did a 5 point War, lots half my ships, came out on the bottom but with enough RR to repair everything and replace all but a couple fighters.. works fine :) )

Thanks in advance for the help

How about using Risk rules, but settling battles using ACTA? Say each unit is a Skirmish point.

It will run something similar to that. However, faster ships can move more than one sector a turn, you purchas new ships at the beginning of the turn and they are placed at the end (alal Axis and Allies), sectors can only produce so many RRs worth of ships per turn. Also, movement around the Campaign Map takes place in the you move, I move, you move style. I'll post them once they are mostly finished for all to take a look at.

My Campaign system works in a similar vein to what your's sounds like. It uses a hexagonal map like twilight imperium and functions pretty similarly to twilight. each hex has a chance of having planets as follows
1-3 no planets
4-6 planets
if planets
1-3 1 planet
4-5 2 planets
6 3 planets
each planet is
1-4 5 RR
5-6 10 RR
Each race has a homeworld worth 15 (some races like human have a 10 and a 5 planet)

These numbers seem to work well for us but we haven't used it much with 2e (used it since SFOS) but looks good so far.

Important note, we don't use scenarios and you don't just use any ships from your 1 big fleet. You send individual ships to different planets/sectors and whatever you have there you fight with. Its basically twilight imperium but each battle is ACTA

If your interested I could put up more detailed rules if someone has a site to host them, I could even put up the cyberboard gamebox we use. No garauntees, we don't have a well written set of rules, just scribbled notes on rulings so it might take a while to put up some decent ones and I have a bad habit of not getting around to things like this but if anyone's interested I could see what I could do.
