Do unspent Creation Credits get carried over?

Do unspent Credits (of any source) get added to your total "Gang Rating"?

When rolling on the Injury table for the Zombie Horde, do you take the base weapon Damge score or the modfied one (modified refering to the zombie weakness vs blast).?

Also, the entry under the Zombie profile state they are Minions and get the following special rule..

"In addition, a zombie is fairly easy to patch up after a battle. When rolling on the Injury Table, a zombie ignores all results (and thus returns straight back to the force, unharmed) except Torn Apart and Dead."

This rule on page 60, contradicts the Zombie special rule. Which one is correct..
Injured Minions
Minions do not roll on the Injury Table when they are removed as casualties. Instead, roll one dice for each minion that has become a casualty. Add +2 if the minion was removed because it failed a Will to Fight check.
On a 4 or more, they are returned to the force with no ill effects. On a 3 or less, they are dead, have been arrested, have run away, or have otherwise failed to return to the force. They are removed from the force permanently.

Ok, after lots of play testing and about 10 hours of Judge Dredd Minis. The group i play with has come up with these rulings..

No, Gang rating is only based off the models you are fielding at the tiem you are going to play.

You take the modified one, since that is the one that killed them

Correct, Gang special rules over ride the normal rules.

Another Question.

Can a gang volunteer to with draw from the board..?

Yes, a gang can volunteer to with draw from the board once they have reached the 1/4 model count instead of making a "will to fight" test. But the decision must be annouced before the test is rolled.

Some further campaign questions.

- After the battle someone gets 40% of the cost of the larger(est) gang in the battle. Is that both gangs? Just the winner?
- The mercenary system is a really good one for one off games. It doesn't seem to work so well in campaigns. E.g. A 500 point gang has been called out by a 900 point gang. The smaller gang buys sufficient mercenaries to even things up. After the game (if the answer above is both gangs) the large gang and the small gang both get 360 credits. The small gang has a 400 credit bill for mercenaries.......
Yes, I understand that they dont need to take mercs...but the alternative is to stick around until your gang is smashed to 25% and then running away, hoping the 360 creds replaces what you lost. What will probably end up happening is the weaker gang just turns up with one expendable minion and pockets the income.
- Are there any benefits in winning a scenario? (apart from possible campaign victory conditions)

Suggestions off the top of my head:

- I think it would be useful if there was some form of differential income dependant on gang size so a smaller gang has a chance to catch up.
- Scenarios should have some reward for the winner in a campaign setting.
- Might also be useful if there was another condition that allowed a voluntary retreat...say if a gang is outnumbered 2:1 or something like that.
- Similarly, if a gang being challenged is much smaller than the challenger they should have an option to not accept.

If you don't spend $20 right when you get it does it go away? It would be logical that gangs can stockpile loot too.

I would charge a portion of unspent money towards gang rating. This would prevent extreme cases of hording where someone has a very efficient warband and is simply stockpiling while keeping others down and leveling heroes. There are a few fail safes in place against this already in the rules such as getting levels = more value but creative outside strategy can break campaign metas through warband rating management by using it to dodge certain matches or create matchup inequalities.

Minions can become heroes if they stick around long enough. Since minions do not roll upon the injury table, the zombie rule does not apply until they roll on the injury table. But since zombies cannot ever become heroes, this rule has no effect on zombies as the minion roll is not the injury table meaning this rule is useless until a hero can take it.
