CA engine slots-help

Before I came back to uni, I was painting a CA when the cat jumped up on my lap and then jumped on my desk sending it flying.
I've now got round to trying to fix it, the only probelm is because the CA seems to be very prone to such a break, especially this one, the slots where the enigne struts should go basically full with old glue,and so I'm not sure what to do, any advice?

i used a pin vice to drill to out and the an X-acto knife ti square it up. be careful not to take too much out you want a snug fit.

Before you drill it out, if you used super glue, try soaking the secondary hull in HOT water. Hot water weakens super glue, and that should make it easier to scrape the old glue off.

Never knew that, thanks Will it effect the paint much? Though to be honest I am going to have to repaint it any way

I don't know. I discovered it by accident when I was washing a miniature after stripping the paint.

I've done it now and Agamemnon now just needs repainting and then she'l be ood to go.
