Break Away Hull Example.Manoeuver vs Jump (edited)

Mongoose
Am I wrong in thinking that the manoeuvre drives are underpowered in the break away hull example in the Starship design section?

Or if not underpowered, at least they aren't matching up with how the table explains how they should work.

The 1000 ton ship when combined has 86 tons 8.6% (8 for simplistics) of hull of drives and is listed at Thurst 3, though should be moving at least Thurst 5 since the drives are at least TL-11. And if you take TL out as a limiting factor the ship can actually reach a Thrust of 8.

The 600 ton section has 66 tons of manoeuvre drives 11% of it's hull and is listed as having a thrust of 4. This sets it's TL at 11 limit with the amount of drives would allow the ship to move at thrust 5 and without a TL limit the ship would be able to move at a staggering Thrust 11

400 Ton section with 20 tons of Manoeuvre 5% of hull is listed as thrust 2. Even at the TL-10 Model of Drive, the ship should be at least thrust 3, and with 20 Tons of drives if drives were uniform throughout the ship you're looking at more TL 11 drives making it capable of thrust 5.

EDIT: (I think someone used the wrong table when doing their calculations for the example.)

Now... if they were talking about hte Jump Drives in stead of hte manoeuvre drives... things would actually be more in line with being correct. the 600 ton section is 6 tons too big, but the rest is totally on point.

400 ton J2 drive 20 Tons
600 ton J4 Drive 60 Tons
1000 ton J3 Drive 80 Tons

I think it's just the fact it's manoeuvre messes it all up.

It's from an earlier version with the higher manoeuver drive percentages. This was updated, I guess the update didn't make it into what was released though.
