book 14 bonus mission

in the rules it says: add 20 for the endurance, but then it seems to add 30; which one is right? Then, for hope, it says start with one, but the adventure sheet seems to start at 0.
What are the rules?

Endurance: Add 20.

Hope starts at 1.
