If you're playing Blood of Orlanth, look away now...
At the end of Blood of Orlanth, it says that Maralis is found to be pregnant, that she goes off to Ralios, and that "from her lineage Alakoring Dragonbreaker will be born in the years to come." This seemed like a good excuse to continue my campaign with the PCs having to protect this child, since there's a prophecy that he's destined for greatness.
But then I looked in Greg Stafford's "History of the Heortling Peoples" and discovered that "Alakoring gains fame" in c.880, which is quite a while before the Blood of Orlanth campaign, which I'm assuming takes place in 908, since the siege of Zistorwal is already in progress.
I could of course ignore the dates in History of the Heortling Peoples, but then Alakoring might turn up in some future Mongoose publication alive and well and grown up, which would be rather embarassing for all concerned!
Anyone got any ideas?
