If the fluff hadn't wiped seemingly out India this would have been a pretty impressive power block!

ok,china and india i get.but russia? i mean it's not like they'r superpower any more(if polish meat can be a danger to national security  )

Well, it's becoming time for new powers to emerge, and since there's not enough land, tech, and people in one country to reach that point, they're banding together.

Russia's got a hell of alot of untapped natural resources, and last I heared they'd paid of 1/3rd of their national debt! They're a much healthier country than they used to be.
Added to that Puttins likely to be in power for a hell of a lot longer than anyone else whos on the global stage, so a close partnership between him and Chinas current Chairman's pretty much a given, and India was the Russian proxy in the region. (Which always struck me as strange, you know the US supporting a military dictatorship in Pakistan and the USSR supporting the worlds largest democracy... :? )

well, both russians and chinese have quite a few tanks,so worker unions wouldn't be a problem :P
They're a much healthier country than they used to be.
in a economic sense, yeah. but according to the long-term prognosis, by the second half of XXI century there will be something like 40-50% less russians-mainly due to civilization deceases(only africa has higher AIDS-infection lavel, plus all manner of other bugs.add to this the lowering level of child birth like the rest of the world, and you know why Tzar Putin's a bit concerned with the growing number of chinese on the eastern border  )

it may very well be like in that old joke "skirmishes on Polish-Chinese border in Ural"

Underestimate Russia at your peril. . .

people have always underestimated russia, and often paid the price.

i wanna use the black hawk and black eagle tanks, they have to be the first tank in the game that can shoot twice or atleast shoot on the move action with main gun.

oh,noone's saying right now, a dying bear can still bite. but i doubt they'll ever regain the influence they had the last 50 years. still a regional power, but no more a world power.

Well, I don't think they're going to put money towards a new tank right at the moment, not when it'd cost more to replace their current inventory when re-vamping the current models of tanks is much more cost effective.

Additionally, and I'm sorry Evil, but:

Until recently, there were hardly any details about the tank except for a couple of words and a poster on the Defendory 1998 held in Greece, but lately considerable amount of information has been revealed, probably due to the fact that Omsk Transmash bureau is desperate to break through the pro-UVZ lobby and turn around the grim prospects of the Omsk tank-building complex (which is in the state of bankruptcy management since 2002).

Seems the guys designing it are...well...in trouble. Most likely you'll never see this puppy out of the prototype stage. Additionally, if you look at the pictures of the real prototype, there's one glaring design flaw....

All depends on the timescale you use.

An example: The US has been riding high for a while now - but in ten more years? Fifty more years?

Are you sure? :)

How long will it take China to overtake the US, not just economically, but militarily? Or India (once the infrastructure is in place)? Or the European Union (okay, with the politicians and systems in place right now, we may be looking at millennia :) Still, a dominant Europe would be like winding the clock back a couple of centuries. . .).

Happily, BF Evo ignores all of this, and cheerfully assumes no one will be silly enough to use nuclear weapons. It really is just a game :)

They're saying 50 years for China to gain Economic domininace....

Historically, that's being generous to China.

Pakistan and India are eye-balling each other, so that's a powder keg waiting to happen.

European Union...depends on if anyone can keep the French from pissing off the Germans...

china has recently invested alot of money in 3 russian tank factories ;) the black eagle is happening, friend of mine works over in russia at a car plant, and china is investing alot into russia at the moment in exchange for designs, the black eagle may infact become a tank for china. ie the sub name black hawk.

I've heard alot of sources saying between 10 and 50 years for China, and India isn't that far behind either. Closed markets geared towards export offer a quick and easy method for a country to increase its economic clout (Look at Japan). China's genuis is its realised it doesn't have to play fair in the slightest and the sad fact is big business doesnt have a hint of patriotism left these days, they'll just go to where the labours cheapest. :D

Sure it is, Eagle, sure it is....keep telling yourself that.

Anyway, Max, that's why I said "heaven help these countries when the workers discovery unions"

All depends on the timescale you use.
well, 300 yeras ago poland was a superpower ,so yes, it's all in perspective, but i'm talking about forseeable future here
Are you sure?
me? i'm sure only of the thermal death of the universe and the everlasting idiocy of the politicians
a dominant Europe would be like winding the clock back a couple of centuries
wouldn't have anything against 8) .colonialism with human face is all fine by me

Ah, yeah, but how long do you think it'll take for someone with enough oomph to eliminate the current Tzar of Russia, Mr. Evil's penpal?
