BF Evo Foreign Language Update

Battlefield Evolution now has several foreign language downloads available on our web site, covering both the rules sheet and unit cards. So far, we have;

Danish
Finnish
French
German
Italian
Polish
Spanish
Swedish

Interestingly, If you can read one of those languages, the wave 3 cards are there as well.

What, are they selling in Brazil now? Besides, you can read it in Spanish, right?

(Many moons ago, I was an ex-pat in Brazil. So many moons, in fact, that I was still in elementary school... So even if I had practiced in the past twenty years, my twelve-year-old's vocabulary wouldn't be up to this particular translation task. If only there were a native Portuguese speaker on these boards... :wink: )

it just the english text translated ie the specail rules and such, no stats thier so nobody is missing anything but doese make it easier for our foriegn friends to play.

that said im suprised mongoose doesent have any foriegn forums set up or do they ?

Yeah, how come no EnglishWave 3 stats, though I'll admit, between a couple of dictionaries and online tools, coupled with a smalkl amount of German and French, I'm doing not badly.

Another question: We have wave 1 and wave 3(well if you understand some of the languages that is...). Where's wave 2?

Bit of weird that there's already wave 3 stats around when wave 2 stats aren't Did somebody do bit of time jumping?-)

Sorry Dorb!

OK here's what I have so far SAS 225 Points

They can:

Split off Team 2

Use M203 Grenade Launcher, Minimi Para they can replace the Minimi with the M109 Sniper Rifle for no extra cost

They are FIST Equipped

They can Ambush

They are Elite and they get a +2 to thier shooting rolls if they are in Cover???
(I'm kinda rustty on my espanol so if I'm wrong sorry)

and they can Reroll their Hand to Hand Combat dice

They are stealthy: I read it as "If they start the turn in cover and have not used a Shoot Action on the previous turn, they cannot have a Line of Sight drawn to them by Enemy Units further than 50cm (18 inches ??)

M109 Sniper Rifle +3 to Damage Dice for all Models Size 2 and under
May only fire once per turn and never as a reaction. If you take a Ready Action you may pick your Target from any model within the Fire Zone rather than adding to the fire per usual.
