base sizes?

hello

can any one tell the size of the bases for ACTA SF.

want to try it out first with some old mins see if it is any good before splashing the cash and buying full fleets.

The original bases supplied with the minis were 2" Dia. the newer ones are about 2-1/8ish size. So to try Bing it out assume they are 2" and shuttle bases are 1" found.

Base sizes aren't critical for any game purpose, no need to rebase what you have.

Ian is correct don"t worry about rebasing just to try the game out. But, he is wrong in that base size doesn't matter because technically base to base contact is the closest 2 ships can be.

Technically, yes. But a number of the models overhang the base enough that model size often dictates the minimum distance possible rather than base diameter anyway.
