Sorry,
but I've looked through Armageddon and I think having ancients (not vorlon or shadow) present on the table. Is just re-inventing the Massed Sag fleet.
In the book it states that Ancients appear, on rare, one off battles. Not four battle, once after the other. They are not a fleet, rather lone ships. Put in the Armageddon Rules, by Mongoose, to show their emense power, and sell the minis. Mongoose even warn of the possible outcome, using these.
Anyone using one of these ships, is just going to hammer his opponents big ships, and then depart. Giving himself an outstanding victory, and winning the game.
Shadows might have a chance, but I some how doubt it.

They ignore stealth, so Minbari players are going to be screwed completely (good bye Sharlins).
The ignore crew hits, and the effects. So IF you score a crit, you are going to find 1 in 6 of them useless. Also, he gets to regen his hits back.
No other fleet, has got the output from one ship. The game is going to last possibly 3-4 turns, depending how quick the non-ancient player can flee.
Not even Vorlons, or Shadows match this performance
I for one, am happy to lose to a fair fleet. I played the MoW tourney on the 11th, and all 4 games were fantastic. But there is no way, I am travelling 210 miles, just to climb inside a meat grinder.
In short, they are over balanced, they are too powerful, they areBROKEN
