Babylon 5 teaser Battle for Valkrie system MEGA game


Babylon 5 Battle for Valkrie system. Is going to be a 14 to 16 player mega game, on a 14 by 16 foot map. The game will be set into two sides. The game is going to be objective based and played with the 2end rules. This is just a feeler. I’ll take comments and questions. BUT I’m not going to get the specifics about the game.

Here is a couple of things that are going to be in the game (subject to change)


- 2end rules
- 2-3 war points
- player assigned tasks
- never before seen or used “events”
- each side will have a fleet Grand Admiral
- A couple of really really cool specials
- no fleet action figs
- figs must be painted

sounds interesting and i like the way it is still ACtA but is different to normal battles.

Sure, why not? I can even bring along a second fleet, in case someone else wants in that doesn't have one. By then, just maybe, I'll have my Drkah painted enough that I can field them.

That is, if the Drakh Carrier and Mothership are released with enough time for me to finish the paint job...

This sounds like it is going to be a pretty cool game. Are you going to post a rough outline to how it goes? My friend and I have been toying with the idea of a 20 to 30 point battle game (when we can spare a weekend), and I'd be curious to know how a big game plays out.

Well rumor has it that its going to be in Signs and Portents. Its not a mega campaign its a mega battle. Its just one really big game.

Ok so its going to be the Going to be in the middle of september. Its located in Joliet IL. I there will be a small entry fee. If somebody from the UK would like to attend I would wave the fee.

1 Mothership (8 Heavy Raiders)
1 Carrier (4 Light Raiders) .... hey, with the beam rules changed, I don't think the Carrier will be a deathtrap anymore....
1 Cruiser
3 Light Cruisers
1 Heavy Raider
2 Scouts

ah damnit, as I read the people saying 'yes Ill come' more and more I began to get a feeling that this was going to be a US thing No way I can afford to fly over just to play ACTA (in fact no way I can afford a holiday at the moment either or I might well combine the two )

Ah well will have to try and organise something like this over here maybe
