Space is limited so please register early. There are a total of 12 spots for ACTA.

You will also need to purchase your MegaCon tickets before you get there because MegaCon ticket booths will not be open as early as the gaming tournaments will start. So if you wait until the day of the event, MegaCon will not let you into the gaming area without proof of MegaCon registration.

Hey LBH could you sticky this post so that people will know that this is going on? We are really trying to get some ACTA action going here in central Florida and any help would be appreciated. Thanks

We will be giving out prizes at this event.

Well we are 3 weeks out from the tournament and things are running smoothly. We are working on the asteroids this week and we should get that done soon. Still figuring out what the prizes will be. We should know soon. Now let us see some sign ups for this tournament. I know there are a few Florida ACTA groups out there, hopefully I will see some of you there.

Thanks, and sorry about not PMing you. I obviously was not thinking when I made that post. I'll try to remember next time. And again thanks for the help.

So we have worked out the prizes for the tourney. Sorry it took me so long to post this but unfortunately my day job as a grad assistant/secretary/instructor has been getting in the way of my night job as a Rhubarb staffer. The winner will get either a fleet or a reinforcements box set depending on the number of players. Again, depending on the number of people attending we may also give out prizes for best sportsman and best painted. The more people we have the more prizes we can give out. There will also be a little something for everyone that plays and does not win a prize as long as they play all four rounds.

With the best painted award I know that Mongoose does not count that in their scoring and we will not either. That being said, we at Rhubarb Games feel that a superbly painted fleet should be rewarded. Best sportsman takes priority though because we want everyone to have a good time. So if we only give out 1 large prize it will be for the tournament winner. If we only give out 2 larger prizes it will be the winner and best sportsman. Again it all depends on the number of entrants.

The tournament has come and gone. Even with a relatively small turn out everyone seemed to have a good time and the race for tournament winner was rather close, 7 victory points to be precise. The Hod, this year's winner, posted a report on this board already about the matches.

We will try to do this again next year at Megacon. Hopefully I can get it squared away sooner so that it can be announced earlier. Maybe next time we might see more of the rest of the Florida ACTA community in attendence. Thanks to everyone that came out.
