Asteroid Damage

At what point does a Ship suffer from Asteroid Damage? At the moment it enters the field or the end of it Movement phase. Also if a ship explodes in a Asteroid Field do ships with in 4" out side the asteroid take full damahge from the explosion or is it muffled by the field?

At the end of Movement - you have to know how far your ship has travelled.

As for explosions, there are no rules for muffles!
