Armed freighters on the Arctic convoys?

AFAIK there are very few places Liberty's and Victory's didn't go.

IIRC the World Ship Society published abook on the arctic convoys that listed every ship in every convoy, as well as the cargo carried by each ship. It even lists ships that carried members of the Trades Union Congress who travelled to Murmansk for meetings with their Russian counterparts (now there's an interesting scenario!)
