Just something I noticed while designing list for 3 point armageddon battle we are planning. Basicly it comes to splitting armageddon point to war and second war to else. You have following 2 options:
war, battle, 2 raid
war, 3 raid
This basicly leads to raid level ship being able to promoted to battle level for free. So for me I was able to swap 2 white stars into 2 WSC-2 for no cost! With better dodge, improved pulsars and missile rack this is braindead choise.
I would call this bug which leads to fleet design being more of mathematical excerise but maybe this is intentional to promote bigger ships in bigger priority levels?
