Any prospective BF:MC Russians might like this....

(sorry, I'm not able to get a direct link)
Think I might be putting a few of these on my wishlist for Sands. If they get enough interest in BTR-Ts or BMP-3s as well I'll go for CIS rather than Chinese as a second force (I've plumped for USMC for the other, Trumpeter do great LAV-25s - they've even got rubber tyres ! And Dragon do HMMWV kits 2 per box with plenty of weapon options).

ian, seen the link, i would need more info but anythings possible.
just to let you know we have had a good responce to some of the wanted vehicles, the btr-t for instance has had 12 sales so we could potentialy be doing it quite soon, so if anyone else who has not signed up please let me know.

YAK, what an ugly tank!
Honestly, I just do not like the design...

To make it work, rightclick on the pic, go to properties and copy the file name, aftre that as usual, IMG Strg-V IMG...

Who cares what tank look likes if it does it's job? I for sure wouldn't care if I'm driving the ugliest tank in the world if it also happens to be most lethal and best protected tank in the world

So true for real life, but for a game?
The models have to look "cool" in a way, or?

Naah. Give me D10+6 killshot multi-hit accurate whatnot gun with armour 18 instead

Just kidding.

Though can't see what's the issue with the look of the tank.

Mental note: Have to create the "Whatnot" trait... 8)

Tanklook: You know; you can't argue about personal taste...

Looks a bit like the designs for the T-90 that were floating around before the actual tank was unveiled. I think the Russians were considering a remote turret with the crew in the hull as far back as the late 70's but could never get the idea to work. Definately looks like an 80's re-tread design though!

The term "ugly but well-hung" comes to mind :)

(Bonus points to B5 fans who've noticed this on a Starfury squadron patch !)

Shaun, I should be sending you a list by Monday. I'm looking at 3-6 MBTs and 6-9 APCs, depending on whether I go for PLA or CIS. That'll push your BTR-Ts over 15, but If I can't get MBTs for them as well (Can't source the Ace T-90 easily either) I'll have to go for PLA instead. Given that the T-95 is still at the prototype stage (at best) perhaps a new turret for Revell, or similar, T-72/T80 kits might be more practical ?

i like the look of the tank alot....

if you wanna see ugly look at the M1A1 looks like its made from plywood !

id certanly be interested in these if they were in the game...

like said its all personal taste...

ian that is a very good idea a new turret for the t80, i can look into the possibility, but we may even be able to convert our existing t72 model.
thanks

Mental note: Have to create the "Whatnot" trait... 8)

Whatnot: Once per game, a unit with this Trait gains any other Trait the player chooses until the beginning of his next turn. This can only be counteracted with a unit that has the "Newspaper" Trait.

Newspaper: So long as this unit remains on the table, whenever an opposing player uses the "Whatnot" Trait the player controlling this unit may immediately take a bonus Reaction to cancel whatever effect the "Whatnot" Trait produced. In addition, the opposing player must immediately go and get the controlling player a beverage of his choice.

:D
