Well, if you check http://blog.mongoosepublishing.co.uk/ (the State of the Mongoose 2014), it mentions in the section on Traveller plans for two new career books, Pirate and Alien. They're also planning on bringing out Pirates of Drinax in dead tree format, the alien book for the Droyne, and at least one new ships book. Plus, they are trying (no guarantees as yet) to get a Third Imperium intro book put together and published; this is a bit of an ambitious project, but personally I think they've brought in the right person to get the job done. (I like Martin Dougherty's record, I do.)
All in all, it's a reasonable schedule for the coming year. Not as many items as some in the past, but it looks workable, and honestly, it's probably better to keep to realistic plans than to go for overreach and fail on too high a percentage.
