8) How firm is the release date for conan 2nd. Still Aug 13th

The 13th is the shipping date (as explained on the date link, if you go to the Conan 2e page), so when you will actually see it depends on where you are in the world.

However, yes, everything is currently on course!

If it is at Gencon will there be a reasonable number (enough to last past 1pm on Thursday)

So far, so good with Amazon. No emails yet on a delay. Knocking on wood here. If all goes as planed I'm looking at a Aug. 22nd -24th delivery date. Can't wait! 8)

In very limited copies (get there early!). UK Gen Con wil be better supplied.

Will the book be available for purchase as a pdf file, from drivethrurpg, for example, or from Mongoose itself?

And if so, since the printing costs are not a factor, might the pdf be in color?

I would imagine that they will eventually make a PDF. I hope they do, in fact, because I would prefer a somewhat cheaper PDF than hardcopy for the 2e. I don't think the PDF for the 2e will be in colour if the original is not, however.
