Are you a Scout who thinks the Type-S just does not have… the legs for your mission? Try the 200-ton Far Scout, found beyond the frontier as it takes advantage of its 4-parsec jump range. In every other way, it can match or exceed the Type-S. Upgrade with Adventure Class Ships on Friday!

At twice the volume of a Type S, the far scout has very similar capabilities but with an impressive four-parsec jump range. Its primary mission within the IISS is to operate within areas of low stellar density where its superior jump drive can easily cross small rifts and travel between clusters without having to worry about fuel caches or double jumps, while still capable of its full operational profile. Within civilised space, it is much rarer than the Type S but is seen more frequently beyond frontiers.
